This is a task for the admin. The connection applies to the whole workspace.
With the HubSpot connection you send scored conversations to HubSpot. An approved conversation appears there as a call activity on the contact, with the summary, the key details of the conversation and a link back to the full conversation in Converdo. Each action item from the conversation also becomes a task in HubSpot, linked to the same contact.
Connecting
- In Converdo, go to Settings → CRM & Telephony.
- Find the HubSpot block and click Connect HubSpot.
- You are taken to HubSpot, where you choose the portal you want to connect.
- Review the access Converdo asks for and approve it.
- You return to Converdo and see the connection marked as connected, with the portal ID next to it.
Converdo asks for these permissions, and no more than these:
- Read and write contacts — read to find the right contact for a conversation, write to put the call activity and the tasks on that contact.
- Read and write companies — to link the activity to the contact's company as well, when it is known.
- Read owners — to assign the conversation to the right owner in HubSpot: the rep who had the conversation.
Pushing
Open a scored conversation and click Push to CRM. You will see a message that the conversation is queued for your CRM.
The push happens automatically shortly after, usually within a few minutes. So the conversation does not appear in HubSpot immediately — waiting a moment and refreshing is normal. Should a push get stuck, Converdo retries it by itself after a few minutes.
Each action item becomes a task in HubSpot with a due date two days after the push. If the conversation itself mentioned a moment ("before Friday"), that text is kept literally in the task — Converdo deliberately does not turn it into a date, because that goes wrong too often.
A conversation is pushed only once. Approving again or rescoring does not create a second activity.
When a push fails
Contact not found. This is the most common reason. Converdo looks up the contact in HubSpot by email address, and by phone number as a fallback. If nothing is found, the push does not go through — Converdo deliberately does not create contacts in your HubSpot, because that is your administration. Make sure a contact exists in HubSpot with the participant's email address, then push again from the conversation page.
Connection expired or permissions missing. The HubSpot card will tell you what is going on. If the connection has expired, reconnecting is enough. If permissions are missing, the card says so too — first add the missing permission in the HubSpot app and then reconnect; reconnecting alone does not fix that case.
Where to see the status
On the HubSpot card under Settings → CRM & Telephony you see the recent pushes with their outcome, and a separate list of failed pushes including the reason. Test connection checks in one click whether the connection still works, without pushing anything.
Disconnecting
On the HubSpot card, click Disconnect. The access keys are removed and nothing is pushed anymore. Whatever is already in HubSpot simply stays there.
